Nightingale Kuala Lumpur gown is the most expensive dress in the world. It is designed by the famous Malaysian designer Faiyzali Abdullah of Jendela KL. The wonderful evening dress is a bright ensemble of silk, chiffon, taffeta & satin. The gown has 6m long contains 751 diamonds and Swarovski crystals weighing over 1,100 carats and includes a 70-carat teardrop diamond from international jeweller Mouawad, sparkled on the gown’s left bustier. It is red in colour dress priced $30 million. It was on display in 2009 at the STYLO Fashion Grand Prix in Kuala Lumpur.
“Stocks drop, gold is even falling but a diamond is forever. This is a dress with diamonds. Why go backwards, why can’t we go forward? We are going to the fantastic, but it’s real. You are getting value for money with these diamonds" said by the designer.
Nancy Yeoh, CEO of STYLO said, “It is art and there are still rich enough who would want to buy.
They plan to present the dress to royal courts around the world, starting in the Middle East. If the dress is sold, 5 percent will go to the Gaza Humanitarian Fund.
